• Week 1: Tuesday 10th November: Fundamentals of Algebra & Expression Simplification

  • Collecting like terms, expanding single brackets, and substituting positive/negative integers.

• Week 2: Tuesday 17th November: Solving Linear Equations & Word Problems

  • Two-step equations, unknown on both sides, and translating real-world scenarios into algebraic equations.

• Week 3: Tuesday 24th November: Fractions, Decimals & Percentages (FDP) Fluency

  • Operations with mixed fractions, percentage change, and reverse percentage calculations.

• Week 4: Tuesday 1st December: Perimeter, Area & Compound 2D Shapes

  • Areas of parallelograms, trapezia, circles, and solving multi-step compound shape problems.

• Week 5: Tuesday 8th December: Ratios & Direct Proportion

  • Sharing in given ratios, unitary method, map scales, and proportional reasoning.

• Week 6: Tuesday 15th December: End-of-Term Maths Quiz & Problem-Solving Challenge

  • Interactive live whiteboard challenge reviewing weeks 1–5, boosting confidence before Christmas
