Course Overview & Philosophy

Achieving a Grade 8 or 9 at GCSE requires far more than knowing the formulas—it requires the ability to solve unfamiliar, multi-topic AO3 problems where the solution method is not explicitly stated.

My GCSE Masterclass program is specifically engineered for high-attaining pupils who are consistently scoring Grade 6/7 and want to convert to Grade 8/9. I break down examiner mark schemes, teach non-linear calculus extensions, and train pupils in the exact problem-decomposition strategies needed to capture every single method mark on high-tariff 5-mark questions.

Key Pupil Benefits

  • Grade 8/9 Target Focus: Every single problem practiced is pulled from the highest-difficulty tiers of past GCSE papers and Olympiads.

  • Examiner Insight: Learn how mark schemes allocate method marks so you never leave a multi-step question blank.

  • Introduction to A-Level Techniques: Early exposure to differentiation and kinematics makes the eventual transition to A-Level Maths effortless.
