Course Overview & Philosophy

A-Level Mathematics and Further Maths demand a level of abstract reasoning and fluent manipulation that goes far beyond school textbooks. For students aiming for A* predictions and offers from premier universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Warwick, UCL), standard classroom teaching is often just the baseline.

My A-Level Masterclass Program combines rigorous extension of core calculus and mechanics with systematic preparation for university entrance papers (MAT, TMUA, and STEP). I train students to think like undergraduate mathematicians—developing elegant, creative approaches to complex, long-form problems.

Key Student Benefits

  • Admissions Test Readiness: Direct, structured preparation for the Oxford MAT, Cambridge STEP, and TMUA exam formats.

  • A* Problem Fluency: Tackles the most challenging synoptic paper questions that differentiate A* candidates from A candidates.

  • Oxbridge Interview Preparation: Practice communicating mathematical thought processes out loud during live problem-solving sessions.
